| nite of sole well decide mid day on saterday to get some worm , defrost some crabs, get the stella chilled and go out @ 7 for a bit of fun with the smuts off hill head, which tunred out to be poo. i had 2 smut to 4lb, 1 tiny bream and doozen mackerel. so i upped anchor and head off to find some sole, no sooner had it gone dark things kicked off with loads of small bass and smuts to 1lb, few eels and by 10pm i had my first sole of the nite of about 1 lb, the nite went on like that till 1am when things slowed down and i upped anchor and head home ,  and the plaice for the speices  total catch was lots of bass and eels, 1 small plaice, 1 small thornback, 7 sole (2 keepers) and 9 baby smuts, plus the smuts, mackerel and bream from hill head. all in all very nice evening __________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...xt80382370.gif     |
