Brambles bay. IOW 11/7/08

Myself and nicky headed down to brambles to see if the bream had turned up, and for the chance of a few flatties once the sun went down.
To cut a short story even shorter, i had one small bream and one small wrasse then it went dead. Nicky had a small rockling so we were not elated to put it simply, though knowing the bream are in is good. and a slight spot move will be on the cards next time. ;)

The highlight of the evening though was watching this lone shower that looked to soak us like drowned rats, will it or wont it get us? This sucker was holding a LOT of water.... :-/

By this time, the clouds were bright blue....weird. Also resembling a mushroom cloud, if this was coming our way, we were SOAKED!

Thankfully it just missed us and went over the needles, the complete opposite direction to the wind and the rest of the clouds, weird indeed.

Hope to post another weather report soon. Happy cloud gazing ;D

Great to hear from the island. That storm looked amazing, glad to see it missed you.
