Branscombe 8/7/7

after the wash out of the RNLI comp on weekend, and most haveing bait over it was decided to have a bit of a club "fish in" in a possible lull in this glorious summer weather

so headed down to Branscombe to meet others, car shared with si so as parking not so bad

soon we were set up to the right of the beach
the Napoli is still there but receeding fast



those cranes are huge and dominate the sea scape for miles


Si (esaa)was soon getting and missing good bites( smooth skinned dogfish)on crab baits

evntually i had a good slackline bite and managed this nice 4 1/2lb starry


( good job they were in close and no distance casting needed ehh Si )

anways that was about it , it was still light realy but the wind and waves were picking up badly, and most were loseing a fair bit of tackle over what is now quite snaggy ground, and as was more of a brief social we all popped to the Fountain pub on way home( real ale pub and what a discovery)

a very pleasent night, no Pee takeinggood company and a bonus fish from a club fish in ( usually calling it that is the kiss if death)

Really hope the weather clears again tonight for baggie and me to get out on our regular wed , but it seems set for the day
