Pagham fridat night

Myself, lee,Scott,Lewism and Alandec met up for a hound
bash at Pagham.
Fishing the flood was very quite with the odd Bream
and an hour before high tide the weed turned up.
At high i reeled in to remove a ton of weed and thats where
it stayed for the next hour as the hounds arrived being
photographer and wearing wellies.
Scott was the first in with a 11lb11 Starry.

As this was being landed Alans rod was bouncing away but
it had dropped the hook.
Lee had a run next resulting in a 8lb8 Common

At the same time Lewis was in with his first BIG hound
which was stripping line but as soon as he tried to gain line
back it was gone (less swearing next time Lewis )
Scott had a Common of 6lb.

Then Scott again with a Gilthead Bream taking his peeler!

It all went quiet so i had time to de-weed and put out a fresh peeler.
Ten or so minutes and lee was in again with a nice smoothy
as he got it to the shore scott lept in to grab the smut and as
he lifted it the hook fell out, how lucky was that! it was a
13lb9 starry

With 5/6
others lost, missed bites and dropped hooks and a big
blank from me that was it for the hounds!
Oh also Lee had a doggy and his usaul Pout
A good night was had by all and i even enjoyed my blank
what with all the running around and shouting going on !!!
Some pictures are blurred due to the constant

Re: Pagham fridat night

Well done guys, top report and pics.
as for the bream I've got to agree with Howie, think the top one is a Couch, and bottom a Black.

Re: Pagham fridat night

Well done to all, looks like you had a cracking session.
Now I know why we didn't get any smutt at Selsey, you guys stole them all

And that's for my lil brov....he might had the fish but missed out on some cracking birthday cake, ginger win and a midnight BBQ.

I shall never ever forgive him and give him up for adoption
