Mudeford

Hi all,
Sorry about the late post (been trying too post this once before but it didnt work..?) anyway.

Fished at Mudeford last sunday Very calm waves and a pretty warm night, so armed with Sandeel, Mackerel, and Softback crab in hope of of a ray or a smut. Fished from 8-11 o clock so it was a quick little fish. Anyway, had a few knocks and my sandeel kept on getting nibbled at every cast (probely crabs) except from that. i blanked as usuall.. it looks a great venue...

Cant wait too fish around that area again, There seems too be alot of weed around there still and also alot of swans being a pain. Saw a few bass jump up too around 3lb, but didnt have any makky feathers... Spoke too a few other people fishing and they blanked.

Thanks,
Dan.

Re: Mudeford

Hi Dan,

I have fished out of Mudeford on a charter boat for many years. During that time I have asked the shore anglers how they have been doing i.e. early in the morning and when I have returned in the evening, the reply has always been the same - nothing doing.

I have seen Bass - Sea Trout - and Salmon in the water in front of the quay but no-one has ever caught one. There are two old boys who net the quay every incoming tide, they seem to to collect everything that is worthwhile catching.

Someone please prove me wrong.

Regards

Drew
