Seaton 14-06-08 first smoothound

i fished the main beach at seaton last night, from 10pm to 3am. was a lovely night, nice flat sea, iv been hearing about all these hounds gettin caught, so i had a go, as iv never caught one before.

i used 2 rods armed with peelers and sandeels, one long, and one short.
first fish in was a small lsd, to save the blank.

then i finally managed a smoothound. all be it a puppy, but i was happy.

i missed a few bites before i learnt you gotta hit 'em hard and quick, or their gone. i landed another of 3lb, then another of about 5lb..... 3 pb's in the same session, thats a first for me.
