tough weekend on jurassic coast

fished twice over weekend
sorry no pics as took camera but no card (Muppet)

saturday

wanted to meet ian and steve but family duties took over so decided in end to fish for exmouth club against honiton at branscombe 5-11pm HT 10pm
Left home in a full on thunderstorm but was a glorious eve there in end and fished in teeshirt untill 10pm

well it was a bit of a grueller
I went for the cleanground to left of boat as has usually been good for dogs and smuts here
bites were hard to come by for anyone( unless you include the hotdog and burger i was given by group having bbq behind me( must have thought i was wasteing away )), infact i never saw as much as a knock on my rods all night

weed and maywater was very much in evidence
out of the 27esaa fishing most caught but all small stuff winner had a mixed bag of wrase, makkie and dogs, best fish of the night was a rogue huss at 10lb well done Stu

but come the weigh in ESAA did beat Honiton 1000% to 550%

return leg in 2 weeks time is a 10hour special at ferrybridge


Sunday
Seaton and met with rich, Tj and added extras phill ,carl and rich and of to seaton again in search of smoothies

well the sea just seemed dead, and extras rich aphill left at 11, we decided not to try too much longer
11.20 and i had a doggie, at least not a blank
on packing up at 11.40 ( in time for a kebab) had 1 rod broken down and mnoticed other slacklined, and reeled in a 2lbis smut puppie

so of cause we fished on far too late for nothing more than a dog for rich, climbed into bed somewhere arround 1.30 i think


a dissapointing weekend, although sun def better than sat
