rodney bay last night wed 28th

well after a horrendous drive back from parents with wipers on the whole way i wasnt too hopefull for getting out in evening

baggie had done the decent thing and got some bait

so after meeting his other mate( another rich( just to make it easy for me) ) we headed down to rodney
conditions were actually fantastic with a gentle surf and clear skies but there was weed and lots of it on the surf end of the bay where i wanted to fish

my bass rods just couldnt cope with it so i moved back to the rocks and clean ground where it was free

well we we all blanking with style untill i got a possitive knock , whoo hoo here we go i thought, and bring in a poxy slimey eel at least broke run of blanks i suppose

just dint feel right after that ( we were packing up anyway) so it was off to pub for very last orders

roll on tommorrow night and comp with club at jacobs the ray have turned up now as they seem so shy at the moment

if not i think thers a plan to find the smoothies on sunday night at seaton

dave

Re: rodney bay last night wed 28th

Big fat blank for me, but it was one of those night when you just don't care... It was a lovely night and after all the rain during the day I was amazed we got out at all. Like Dave says, weed was a problem but we adopted the standard procedure for such situations and went to the pub. End of problem.
