| needed help in minnis bay.. ok, i fished minnis bay 25th, hw was 02.30, loaded with peelers, first, i parked at the car park and made my 15mins cycle down towards recuver bay, got there around 12, water coming up not so fast, some ppl were there camping but not fishing i think.. (mayb dogging :) ) well nothing , wind was blowing hard, had 2 rods one with peelers, one with rags hoping for a bass. but nothing. then around 4am, i hammer bite pull my rodrest down, i was thinking weed at first, lucky i got to the rod and i could feel something pulling away. took 25 mins and help from this lad in the tent. to my amazment and at LAST a thornback RAY, around 9LBs. the fish had a plastic tag on there with numbers, can any1 tell me why thats is. only one fish landed. on softshell crabs from my local chinese rest, uncook and frozen. HEHE has any1 fished the other side of the bay, were the rocks are.? is spinning good for bass there during daylight.? |
