Talking baggie got smutty at seaton again

with the weather looking iffey( infact there were severe weather warnings) headed of to seaton, in the end we fished mostly in just a fine mist, the rain really started on drive home

in the end 6 of us fished seaton fri eve
Tony and keith from the club stuck with dogging it out to our left where as Si had a monster makkie well after dark that actually pulled the rod off the stand

in the centre andy and myself were obviously ground baiting for si and soon to be mr golden orbs rich

for as we were starting to get a bit disheartened at low water at 11pm and no sign of any smuttiness anywhere , rich was at last in with a fiesty little starry pup

which he then followed in his next two casts with two more, the last being the biggest at about 2 1/2lb,

so obviously we fished on and we gave it till 1am I missed a big slackliner but nothing else came to play for us, then managed to get to kebab shop just on closeing

did get a txtx from si that he managed a bigger one arround 4lb as they were packing up after us as well

so a pleasent eve, target species hit( well by mr golden orbs) and reports of other fish starting to show arround the area, it can only get better now

Re: baggie got smutty at seaton again

Bite yer bloody head off them shark things eh?

A very quiet night, apart from them three manic casts. Managed to pull the first one in and the bait was fine, so I lobbed it straight back out. Went about sorting the fish out and had just managed to get back up the beach from putting him back when the same rod went again. Sorted that out and on putting the fish back noticed a massive slack line on my other rod, so marched back up the beach, wound down and bu**er me if there wasn't another one. Might have been slack for a while, but the fish was still on.. Bit jammy, I will admit..

Top night.
