Torbay / Brixham / Dartmouth Area Fishing Advice Please

We are going down to the above area for half term week and taking the wife, two kids (both want to fish) and three dogs. The problem I have is where can we go fishing where the dogs will not be a problem and the boys can float fish and I can go plugging in one session?

I fished Prawle Point a few years ago and reckon this might be a safe bet as there is good plugging and plenty of wrasse for the kids, plus the dogs can roam free as there will be no one about. Has anyone got any other places to recommend?

Thanks

Jon

Re: Torbay / Brixham / Dartmouth Area Fishing Advice Please

well if fitness is no problem.....then there is loads of places! most involve some kind of climb though and the dogs will make it look so easy lol

im not sure i am around that week or i can meet up with you and show you somewhere...as it stands at the moment im scurrying off to manchester again!

hopes nose and berry head will both give fish though and keep the kids really happy......however both entail a bit of a hike back upto the top....and berry head this time of the year you need to pay to park.. unless you have a blue badge? in that case you can drive on down!

Cheers guys, I was reading about Berry Head last night and think it sound best as the dogs can run around to their hearts content. The boys will be happy floating and I can spin for bass and pollack. No blue badge but not a problem.

Cheers

Jon
