Admiralty Pier, Dover. GRAVESEND. 9/5/8

Havent Been Out Much This Year, Been Busy With Work, Fished Flatties Corner, Arrived At 20.15 Loaded With Blueys, rags, squid. Hw At 02.10, First Cast With Rag Tip With Squid, A Dogfish, Second Cast, Double Shot Pouting, It Was A Bite Every Cast About 80 Yards Out, Even Maccies On The Drop After My Bait. No Soles, dabs Etc, But My Brother Who Fished TheRE 2 Days Before Had 2 Decent Size Plaice In The Daylight, I Just Couldnt Stand The Maccie Bashers There, As The Tide Came In With My Line Racing From Right To Left, Even A 8 0z Gripper Couldnt HolD Into Place, I Decidecd To Race To Gravesend After Hearing Reports Of 8lb Bass, Got There At 02.30. First Cast At The fish And Lobster A Bloody Eel, Size Of A Bic Pen, No Soles, Or Flounders, But Did Get 15 Bass Around 5 Inches On Size 2/0 Hooks, Oh Well. I Guess The Air Temp Is Hot, But The Water Still Isnt And Still Abit Early For Soles.
