return 2 milford shingle. 1/5/08

i quite fancied the ebb tide at this mark last night and so returned again this week.
after takeing a look at the whitehouse mark, where the amount of errosion since i last looked there was quite a shock.
i picked my spot and fished through till sunset without a bite

at dusk the kennel door opened with this first 1 snaffleing a pennelled sandeel/squid offering on a pulley rig.

i had 4 more to various mixtures of squid/sandeel/bluey. much the same as last week exept the tide times plus i only hooked 1 pout ( not sad about that)

oh, and one of these turned up-

spidercrab, spidercrab,
does whatever a spidercrab does,
can he swing from a web?
no he can't he's a crab.
watch out its spiderspider crabbbbb !!

hopefully that 'll be the last this year , but i doubt it.

Good report as ever, Gord. Shame you didn't have a bit more variety, but at least you didn't blank.

Nice report mate. Know what you mean about the Crabs. There appears to be a lot around this year. Got plagued by em a couple of weeks back on Chesil. Loved the verse. It's almost as good as Vogon Poetry......

Vogon poetry is widely accepted as the third worst in the Universe. The second worst is that of the Azgoths of Kria. During a recitation by their Poet Master Grunthos the Flatulent of his poem "Ode to a Small Lump of Green Putty I Found in My Armpit One Midsummer Morning" four of his audience died of internal hemorrhaging, but the President of the Mid-Galactic Arts Nobbling Council survived by gnawing one of his own legs off. The absolute worst poetry was written by Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings of Sussex. Luckily it was destroyed when the earth was.

blatently plagiarized & adapted from the works of Homer, ( simpson, not the author of the illiad).

BB, yep they're eddible but i've not tried, i'm hopeing that one of those popular tv chef type guys really encourage the use of them as a food source ,
it'll save me a fortune in hooks if the population gets decimated.

Thumbs up Re: return 2 milford shingle. 1/5/08

Having attempted to read both Homers Illiad & Oddessy, i've come to the conclusion that Homer Simpson is the superior Philosopher....
