Exclamation Spaces available on Channel Island Trip. (Again!).

Due to the fact that I have been d*cked around by a couple of people.....I have 2 (possibly 3 if necessary) places available on a Channel Island trip out of Lymington, with Rob Thompson aboard his excellent cat 'SHOGUN'. I am sure many of you will know Rob and his skippering ability and realise what a good opportunity this is....so I'll just stick to the info.

Due to the time of year and the excellent tides for the flatties....this is designed primarily as a flattie bashing trip. (There are already reports of reasonable catches of turbot and brill coming off the banks). Consequently the timetable is as follows:-

MON 5TH MAY (Bank Holiday).....Leave Lymington at about 7.30am and steam straight over to the Islands (no wrecking on way over) and spend the afternoon after the flats.

TUE 6TH MAY.....Flattie bashing.

WED 7TH MAY.....Flattie bashing.

THU 8TH MAY.....Wrecking on the way home, arriving back at Lymington late afternoon/early evening.

The trip is flexible....if we are blown off on the Monday, we can leave on the Tuesday if necessary and return on the Friday. Also, if the flatties do not show as well as we expect them to, Rob will suggest other alternatives as and when necessary.

We already have 6 good blokes going and the trip will be a good laugh come what may (my birthday is 7th May....so I am certainly looking to have a good time!!).

If anyone is interested in making up the trip; please contact me on 07717 253 296 or by personal message.

Please only reply if you can guarrantee your attendance and come up with the dosh pretty much straight away (I have had enough of being ars*d about already, I'm afraid!).

COST:-

£375 per head (including accom) based on 8.

£345 per head (including accom) based on 9.

Best regards.

Andy.

Certhia and I will be in the Isle of Man that week, or we would have taken you up on it.

We went with Rob Thompson in Electric Blue three years ago. Superb craic and fishing, capped by a 12 lb bass for Certhia on the way home.

Good luck, and give Rob our kind regards

Dave and Norma (AKA Vagabond and Certhia)

Not to worry Dave.....I plan to make it an annual event, another time perhaps?

I will pass your best wishes to Rob.

Take care.
