Yep was there myself (stayed week at my caravan) 3 sessions fished and not one fish caught, it is my worst drought ever. will still keep plugging away as am determined to catch something from Warden

i'm afraid the waters in this part of kent can seem rather lifeless at this time of year,all will change once the peelers are around,
in the meantime,i have heard of a few thornbacks being caught in some beaches in kent and a strip of bluey has been one of the more successful baits,perhaps if you intend sticking with leysdown a strip of bluey on a pulley rig may be an option
