Sea town 4th april

My mate andy and i decided that we would give work a miss friday as the weather was looking good. ( the benifit of self employment).

We arrived sea town at 10a.m and the water was so calm , i descided to take the new toy of the van , and rather than just site on the beach i would play with the kayak.
It was fantastic . I am new to kayak fishing, so did'nt go to far out only about 400yards.
I came away with 2 dogs about 1 1/2lbs and another smaller, also my first thornback at about 1lb. Also a great tan.
Fished of the beach later with not a thing .
Three others on the beach and by the time andy and i left nobody had caught from the beach.
But a great chill out day .
Then home to an evening out with friends for dinner and more than a few pints.
WHAT A DAY roll on the summer

Wow.
you must be well organised to fish from a Kayak, I can picture myself upside down watching all my bait sinking towards the bottom.
Sounds good fun.
