well heres the report guys( and girls)

a good turnout of 17 anglers on the night, the weather was mild ,but the beer was kept chilled by cool westerly wind, most fished steamer steps but baggie and I had a plan to go to lyme kilns end in hope of the better doggies

well for myself all i can say is
I went I fished I caught a few pout( all bar 2 were undersized and the 2 I got were pathetic = 29% )

rich at least managed a doggie to go with his pout, but most there last night struggled to find any better fish( only other weighable fish was rockling( now theres a surprise in march)

in the end 13 out of the 17 weighed in, I was 13th rich was 10th
winner was ken ( his first win well done mate) so was £17 better off which he can put beer in his grolsch fridge with with 2 fatter dogs and 2 pout

most of the fish were at the steamer steps end

still a good social night( although i did find out a bit too much about Si's night time habits)
roll on seaton next month ( wed 2nd) there must be some better fish arround by then

T'was a nice mild night, spoilt only by the lack of fish and proclamations of love from our fearless leader.

Next time I decide where we should fish mate, tell me to "p*ss off" will ya?

Oh, and had a moment of clarity with a little solution to the weigh in problem. Leave it with me, but I might have something for you by April's match. (2009!)
