Langley Point, Eastbourne, Sussex

Myself, Lewism, Allandec and Scotty all went down to fish the point!

We fished from half 5 ish pm till 6 am, and we used a scratching rig each to see what was about and a 3/0 pennal rig for the elusive cod...ling.
Well the westerly wind was strong and it was hard to detect bites but first cast scott had a pout.

Then Allan was in with a Rockling

After this the winds grew stronger and there were no chance of seeing a bite so we just checked are baits every half hour. In the end i think we ended up with a dozen pout and rockling, 1 whiting and Scotty and Allan caught a codling each of no size but nice to see them

So we all ended up happy as are last session was a complete blank. This is a cracking deep water mark and we will come back when there is no wind. Nice to meet up again with Allan and Scotty

Re: Langley Point, Eastbourne, Sussex

Well done. You caught fish, and probably got more fresh air than you had immediate use for. I know I got plenty, and I was fishing inland !
