| calshot again! Why do I keep doing it to myself! Decided to risk it and go out last night, was on my was to Hordle as couldnt make it on the sat night to meet rick so thought i would make a quick trip to there. On the way there the cogs were turning in the old brain and thought if I drive all the way there and the winds still gusting i'll have to go back so had a brain wave and thought, I know i'll go to calshot! big mistake. Fished the outlet pipe with a large squid and mackerel wrap pennell and a wishbone with lug on the other fished until high water and managed one rockling. Great.... Had some action on the big bait but failed to connect have a sneaking suspison it was a small dog fish as bait was not minced up from a ray chewing on it. As it happens the wind dropped of to nothing and was a very pleasent night, at least I can take that as a positive. Oh well of to try for some early plaice tommorow morning. Thats my last time at that desert of beach for a while.     |
