| Undercliffe/Ramsgate 20.02.08 Fished the undercliffe at Ramsgate today. Really foggy first thing, fished 2 hours up and 2 hours over high tide. And what did we catch -----Jack (to use a modern term so I'm told). Used lug, squid and mackerel, not even a bite. Some chap passing blames Pfizers (pharmaceuticals) ![]() ![]() |

| Re: Undercliffe/Ramsgate 20.02.08 I've been fishing for over 30 years now so its too late to give up now. I should take the positives from any trip, it was a nice peaceful day(except for the 40 tonners every 10 mins or so) and we did get a bit of father/son bonding I suppose. I was a member of a coarse fishing club a few years back but was put off by the carp groupies and their following of the latest fashion trends, who would laugh at the tackle you were using if it was not the 'latest'.
