charmouth last night 16/2/8

well mrs p told me to go out as I was fidgety, so i decided to go and try for another ray at charmouth
tide wasnt till 2 in morning so leaving at 8pm i got to charmouth at 9 found a local and had a pint then to beach 10ish
there were 2 others fishing from the platform and i set up too the right

well it was slow, infact slower than a slow thing, and apart from watching the prats with a huge bonfire on beach and kids with a homemade petrol bomb on beach as well it was fishless, i was going to give up arround 12 as was getting a hint parky but the others then had a BBQ going so i stood there to warm up a bit, then i was handed sauges and burgers , now that was nice

eventually managed 2 pout to save blank.( others had had a few poutand rockling)but was definately cold now and bait was not defrosting, (car showed -3 on way home) left at 2 to get home about 3 as had the casting thing today
social night with the bbq and all( think guys name was pete, thanks)
i'll be back for the ray again soon
and got plenty worm left over in fridge here( as nothing was eating it) for rich in week ( i'll drop round in day mate as guess u aint out tonight)as i wont get out again this week

I'll see what I can do with the worm. (Apart from kill it in the super chilled fridge that is. )

Nice to have saved the blank with the pout, but free sausages and burgers was a real bonus.
