calshot report

Fished a match at calshot (along the beach huts on sat night)
Had a bit of a nightmare got pegged next to a guy who had just taken up fishing on the night.
I only picked up pout at distance but the pegs towards lepe where having better luck and one guy picked up a 7lb 5oz thornback someone else had a 2 1/2lb bass and one was lost close to me.
Lots of fish caught mostly all pout but still better than blanking.
All fish fell to worm baits including the Ray which fell to a big bunch of Rag.
Not so good for me but encouraging as some reports early Rays so next oppurtunity im out there.

Re: calshot report

A few rays being caught, hopefully a good sign of a fish filled summer.

Nice report. Glad to hear the rays are staying to appear.
