shoreham west arm today

Had a local comp today an myself and lewis went over to try take the pot but unfortunately i didn't get my hands on any cash but never mind had a great days fishing....well tell a lie had about 1 and a half hours good fishing and blanked for the other 4 hours 30!! started off with a few rockling of 18-24cm and to be honest that was about all we had....apart from a few odd flounders and a whiting by other anglers in the comp.

I weighed in 6 rockling and lewis came second in the comp with 10.think the biggest flounder of the day was around about 34cm and that was the highlight of the day! all in all i think if the rockling wernt there it would of been the worst days fishing of a comp ive ever seen.

Oh....almost forgot....had myself a weever today also....very small and had to ask lewis if it was one to make sure and he also said it was but didn't take a pic as we didn't think it was on the species hunt list but after having a quick look it is so can the tope tuggers have a point for that please?

Many thanks

Ollie.
