| nil catch/nonfishing report. work has been real hectic of late and so i attempted to get some time in on the beach last night. 14.5 hour shift in barnwood wednesday night.back home for 10am - youngest son to health clinic after breakkie(mine ,curry) - collect rest of children from school-get changed for work & pack fishing gear. 17.00 thurs start 3 hour shift in salisbury, finnish at 20.00 and my times my own till o4.00 drove to lepe for 9pm where another angler was already set up , i was gonna ask how he was doing but noticed that the tide was still 100 yds away and he hadn't started yet. i didn't fancy that venue so left for calshot where things looked brillient with the tide 1/2 way up the shingle, an overcast night, calm conditions and coloured water with just light but cold winds from the south. at this point i felt knackered so sat in car and had a fag while listening to radio 1 and the gentle lap of water on shingle, now relaxing in a calm peaceful enviroment i promptly fell asleep til 4am ![]() then drove home __________________ 2008, sessions..25, total blanks..3 species,..20 its easier for a man to destroy the light within himself than to defeat the darkness all around him. |

| Re: nil catch/nonfishing report. It those "just a couple of minutes" moments when you often wake up late. Unlucky Gord. I'd say make sure you were on at least on the beach before you closed your eyes, but I'm not sure it'd make much difference. ![]() __________________ Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. | Re: nil catch/nonfishing report. Ah the memories of a Jun 16th ruined by that quick kip on the pallet at St Y Nyll.
