| Eastney 28/1/7 Myself & Gully fished Eastney last night, tides were not good so opted for LW & up. Fished 2030 - 0100 Low Water 2030 Dead calm night, hardly a breath of wind, quite warm as well. Sea was really flat . Fished small hooks & baits looking for some Dab and big hooks close in for those biggies ! Mixture of baits primarily Rag & fish baits, few blacks & tried Blueys out. Ended up catching nearly a fish a chuck - loads of small Whiting & Pout - had probably well over a dozen each at the end of the night plus one small micro Bass so 25+ fish cant be bad - lots of double & the occasional triple shot - likely would have caught loads more if we stayed but there is a limit on how many Pout & pin Whiting you can cope with !
