What a great day

Well yesterday was meant to be work work work. But had some rain first thing , meant all fence panel wet so me and nephew (si) had no work.
The decision was made to hit the beach, left tisbury ,9.30am stopped blandford forum 10am, Little miss piggys rd side cafe , cheese burgers 2 die 4, that was breakfast , dinner oh and tea.
Stocked up on bait at west bay tackle, and bought more goods than the wife would have liked me to ( in the dog house).

Were set up and on the go at seatown by 12.30 . No other fisherman on beach all day and evening.

Well by 1pm si was in ,and what a fish first ever type caught by si, and i have never caught one , a nice little ( i think ) thorney ray approx 20" long and 10" wide

.. Have photo but i am comp iliterate and can't seem to get pict in letter.
After that he had 2 whiting 1 of 1 1/4 lb , 5 doggies and and 8 pout.
He did better than me 2 dogs 1 of which was 1 1/2lb and 9 pout , but hay ho better than last week , ie my first ever blank.
Still what a day sun , mild , and what a sun set. Left at 8 pm but should have stayed later as they were still on the take , needed to get home, keep wife happy , than maybe i can go again next week.
