well as its wednesday its dave and riches fishing night

big high tide at 7 pm ,but we cant get away till 7.45 (poxy work)
so the plan was really to get rich some practice casting with new rod whilst wasteing some left over bait from weekend then retreat to pub( january scrathing got to love it really)

get to exmouth seafront as nice and flat for practice, tide still well up( but dropping fast)

useing bass rods for fun cast out with 3 hook flapper size 1 hooks and dying ragworm

before set up 2nd , 1st rod is moveing think to self b*gger lost bottom in tide as rod nodding all over place
wind in and theres a weight, B*gger again the weed must be in , then some resistance and bingo in comes new PB flounder at dead on 2lb( rich your scales are ok)


so the casting gets forgotten for a while as we both concentrate on fishing

rich managed to break in new rod with 2 whiteing but that was unfortunately it
had a few casts then
managed a beer or 2 in seafront bar( rich enjoyed finding out it was ladies darts night ) then a kebab

so not a bad eve all in all
