| Gillkicker Me n Bolton are fishing Gillkicker Saturday evening/night anyone welcome to join us. Not fished it b4 and was looking at an ariel view and wanted to know can you drive right to the point or is it a bit of a trek. Saw one road that leads to a carpark at the end of Stokes Bay is this the only road in ? Any info would be nice as never fished it b4.     |

| Re: Gillkicker Best place is to park in the GAFIRS (lifeboat) car park and walk to the point. You could access it across the fields but you have to find parking on the roads near the houses and is quite a trek. GAFIRS is much easier, nice footpath to the fort - only takes 15-20 mins depending where you are going ... If the winds blowing - it will be fun ! It can be hard work on a spring tide but as it is a neap tomorrow - should be a lot easier .... 5/6oz leads essential, watch out for rafts of weed sailing past.
