| lonely at ladram well as i stilll had loads of bait in fridge, as kindly supplied by baggie on saturday, thought it really needed drowning unfortunately baggies away with work so would be a solo effort, I was hopeing to go floundering on the exe but there is shed loads of fine weed from the floods so not good and a fair westerly as well so went to look at ladram got there 7 pm(ht 11.15) was pretty calm and skies cleared as well to make it cols beach has been pretty much scoured out by current storms(but will return with next storm as ever) fished 1 rod 3/0 and whole squid hopeing huss or bass, other 2 hook flapper size 1 for anything well it was quiet and sort of spooky and funny but didnt feel right without my usual partner in crime, fishing was v v slow but i did scratch a pout or 2 for the hunt  know baggie wont mind me getting that nuicence species off the list well I fished till 10 but was soo quiet( also snagged up and lost a set of gear that couldnt be bothered to reset up  so decided to head home and sample the teams namesake  roll on the weekend when baggies back  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

| Re: lonely at ladram eee its a nuisance to you lot down south but ive never caught a pout!! only time ive even SEEN them is off the boat. and just imagine this.. its half 10 at night and you wander into a pub..you cast a glance over to the bar and catch a glimpse of a solitary man sat there with a pint of speckled hen on the surface of the bar...and hes holding a camera and taking a picture of it.  __________________ "Alright Jack, we all ready to fish?"
