| centurion park soton Evening anglers , well a few of us fished centurion park today , arrived 10am to a bit of a blow , target species were flounder , so ragworm as bait only , with reports of now 6 seals up and down the solent , and in the itchen , things were looking grim ...... also netting going on all over the itchen ... scotty was in straight away with a flounder on his first cast maybe things werent so bad at all .....................  next in was ian with another flounder ........................  then it was johns turn with a clonker , banging the scales down at 2 lb ...............................  well we tried every trick in the book to bag more looked like i was on a blank again after getting a bite first cast and missing it ... with an hour to go .....phew !!!!! ................  managed to bag one !!! not for the want of trying mind ... funny old game this fishing lark , the fella fishing to the right of us managed 4 on his own !!!!! unlucky to young jasmine who blanked , but tried mighty hard ............and dan Mmmmmmm what is going on young man 5 blanks in a row !!! we will have you catching at town quay saturday night !!!! great day in great company and fish to suit even if not in numbers as expected !!! lee. __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away..     |
