needles 30/12/07

i was ment to be going out to the needles for my final cod bash of the year on wight reble, but sadly i went down ill night b4 and could not go so when my lift turned up i coughed up the cash for my place onthe baot and said have a great day , knowing there probaly have a blinder just cos i cant go

but today feeling better though id get a catch report for the intrest of us all and...........
turns out it was a resonalby good day out with 11 conger to 30lb ish and 2 cod , 1 of 3lb and 1 of 9lb. plus the normal vermin that the needles always chucks up. thay fish in the car park with plenty of other boats.
from what iv heard seems few other skippers landed some too, so there still out there

guess this will be my first year with out a cod for quite a few , but iv had a good year in other ways to make up for it and try many new methods
