Hmmmm  Can I really muster the effort of packing all my gear up, getting in the car and driving for over an hour just for Pout and Whiting?Hell yeah. If Mr Bolton can do it then so can I... Didn't get to the beach until 8:30pm and it must have been closer to 9pm before I was fishing. A few lads from the club made the trek and apparently most fish (Dogs, pouts, whiting and a single dab) were caught in the couple of hours before I got there. Obviously, as soon as I turned up the bites stopped. Not that anybody mentioned the fact or blamed me or anything you understand  Ping managed a couple of pout before we called it a day at 11:30pm and started the trudge back to the cars. Well done mate, t'was hard work eh? Crap fishing but a good laugh, which just about sums 2007 up really. Roll on 2008. __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check.
