| cracknore hard (marchwood) Evening all , well seven of us had a little meet today , arrived at 9.30 am with fisherdan and james , and met up with fingers who was already there , and the road to the shore was blocked in 3 places with big no entry signs .... oh no not another disaster ,also had to wait for eddie c and allan and ian (big e) nice to meet you mate who were arriving at 10.30 so we had an hour to wait to choose another venue !!! anyway all turned up apart from ian !!!!! so i had a trot past the barricades to see what was going on , and saw a car coming towards me .....only bl***y ian ! hed been there for an hour waiting for us shock apparently we all missed the diversion signs .... what a bunch of plums shock , so back on route and arrived at 10 30 am .. missing an hours fishing ... so off we go ... first in was me with a flounder of 1lb 3oz ........... ![]() then me again in quick sucsession with a flatty of 13 ozs .... ![]() all caught at low water then sadly as the tide came on the run in all went quiet ....unfortunately thats the way it stayed ...sad to see the other lads on a blank ... where have the flounder gone proves my point that this venue fishes far better at low water 4.30 and pack up time , .. will try to get out again over the weekend , but im getting the old you love fishing more than me routine from her in doors ... so may not have another pass untill next weekend good luck all fishing over the weekend !!! cracknore hard .... my favourite spot ... ![]() lee. __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away.. |

| Re: cracknore hard (marchwood) Hi Cuckoo and other Cracknore fishing folk, I have a boat moored out a little way from the hard. I use it for fishing the area; when I can get it to run reliably that is. Can I just say thanks a bunch to all the nice chaps that have lent a hand when I have been struggling with a shed load of gear and been given a helping hand through the mud and muck that we call a "hard". It is really nice to see in this day and age that some folk still have some old-fashioned values. That was me with the grey inflatable and blue overalls. I wish you all a very happy new year. . . .
