Evening anglers ,
well what can i say arrived at this venue at 9.30am to find fingers already fishing fancied fishing the alcove but we both decided to fish the bend , i knew this day was going to be a disaster the moment i woke up !!! couldnt find me floaty suit , the missus had put it in the shed cos it smelt . went to get it to find a cat had pissed on it so had to dettol that down , went to grab my 2 glorious flatty rods to give them an airing , to find the bloody dog had chewed the butt section to the extent that its knackered ,
ok ok i can just about handle this !!! first cast nice new flatty rig and flat lead , wound up the slack in to a snag , SNAP all gone rig lead shock ...... second cast SNAP crack off and almighty nest im now starting to lose the plot, 2 rods now out and a nice light rod flounder spooning , and 1 fing bite all day that i missed ,2 blokes fishing to the right of us using garden worm were getting bite after bite towards the end , walked down to where we were originally going to fish and a fella there had been there 2 hours and had 2 double shots and 2 singles 6 bloody flounder !!!!! that was it pack up time , removed rigs and just added a lead for a bit of frustrating power casting ...wallop and yes ...............crack off not only that i hit into that hard the rod followed through and hit the railings broken ceramic

looked at a painful finger to see the line had sliced a good piece of me finger ..... blood everywhere needs a couple of stitches , but after my day i wasnt going to sit in a and e for 8 hours !!!! so without further adieu slung all me gear in the car said me good byes and off home to a 12 pack of stella still great to be out as usual , and thoroughly enjoyed a day by the sea as always
