| last night rich and myself decided not to brave the cold on chesil(also couldnt get any lug on sat) but just to stay local and have another go at the flounder on the exe we had hoped again to meet phill, but guess next time mate it will happen well after a bit of a delay therefore the 5 min trip took 1/2 hour we got to our fave little spot set up with 2 1/2 hours of flood to go baits were dried up week old rag(no suprise that didnt work some tired lug from wed/thurs and some fresh rag i was fishing 1 up 1 down rigs with a hint of bling rich 2 hook flappers and new carp rods to get some bite indication both getting a few knocks and rattles but nothing definate then rich is into a fish which actually fell off as lifting from the water ![]() , looked a nice flatty as wellthen all quiet and getting vv cold until (have since worked out ) bang on top tide when i get a bite at last resulting in a flatty, about 1/2 lb then whilst re tying hook(had deep hooked as ever ) rich is into a cracking fishweighed in at exactly 1lb ![]() ![]() sorry pic a bit dim need to sort out new cameras settings ![]() funny enough neither fish had given us any bite indication (and we were watching )was only because we were changing baits that rods were reeled in tide turned and raced out just on packing up i managed another small flatty that thought was much better but was decorated with 1lb weed a pleasent eve again wed night last joint effort for rich and me before christmas, mm fish or well deserved pint to celebrate a good year ![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |
