advice for dover/folkstone

hi guys, i am living in italy now but am back in london over christmas and want to hit the beach for some winter fishing, and i used to do dover/folkstone area. any advice on baits etc that have been working, whats being caught and the chances of catching...obviously this is dependant, but has it been fishing well lately is what i mean!!! any advice or tips most welcome!!cheers!! chris

hi chris,havnt heard much, the weathers been crap for the last 2 weeks,
i did hear of a load of whiting and dogs off the prince of wales pier at dover however,to be honest that was probably the only fishable venue

ah ok, maybe i will still give it a go and blow away the cobwebs off the gear!!thanks for the info. if any one hears anything else let me know!!!!cheers
