| Hayling Island 10/12/07 Fished one hour of high tide and 4.5 hours of it going out at The Inn On The Beach. Used two rods. Caught a bass of 4lb 1oz to slipper limpet. A friend caught 5 around 2.5 lb. Tried other baits but the slippers were the only ones working. I know it was the wrong state of the tide - but it was the only time I could get out after the big blow. I will be there again Weds from around 10am. All the bass were returned safe, except for the larger one and that made two nice fillets. |
