Cool Flatty Bashing - River Taw

If anyone is interested in flatty bashin down on the River Taw (Barnstaple) in the next month or so, i will be going down for a day weather permitting . Takes 1.45 mins from Bristol.

Will have up to date info when they are in and heavily feeding.

Last year had up over 2lb in double shots!

Mini rag or maddies are best, peeler if you can afford it!

Might even get a couple of Bass

Cheers
Shaun

Re: Flatty Bashing - River Taw

Does it have to be B&Q..........got a couple of garden forks but not those narrow ones needed for bait digging!

Will they do?

No problem Juan, there is loads of room down there. We will be fishing over mud/sand some areas mud only. Walking over tarmac.. then possibly mud/sand but mostly on the shoreline shale/sand.

This is the area we will be fishing...

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...height=500&db=

Will give directions nearer the time. Might be a couple of late Bass down there as well. Last year I caught a 4.5lb Grilse.... Small Salmon... Put it back of course... no licence to take it.

Cheers
Shaun
