I may invest in one anyway, as I've just pulled my old digging fork out of the shed, and it seems to be a little more worn down than I remember. It's also got a lot of rough metal coating on it, and the points were a bit "pointy" lol - so it would take a few digs to get it really zipping through the sand. HTH. |

| Re: Flatty Bashing - River Taw well i dont know about the taw but surely there should be some flounder starting to show now? i may pop down the harbour and have a couple hours to see if there is anything in there on wed morning __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |

| Re: Flatty Bashing - River Taw yep they are in force here in south wales mate. heard loadsa reports of fish up to 2lb in the loughor estuary - when i fished it got 8 fish up to 1lb 6oz so they are definately feeding heavily to fatten up for the winter! was gonna go again today but really need to fill in a job application form. |

| Re: Flatty Bashing - River Taw ooh see the hard thing about flounder fishing here is....its not a river its a harbour used to produce lots of flounder years ago float fishing rag worm! great fun. however they have built a bridge across the harbour now and placed a cill to stop the harbour emptying at low tide last year was the first winter with the cill and we caught flounder im just hoping they will come back over it again this year i had them to over 3lb last year and on a carp rod and float fishing its great sport! __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |
