fishing thunderhole

ok martin kev simon whoever else maybe bored tonight watching soaps!
i will be out fishing somewhere tonight at the moment my mate (who happens to be the driver so i have no say) is thinking of going to thunderhole so if any of you guys are bored pop down say hi i will keep you posted on where the final destination ends up though.

Just got back from the breakwater and I have a bit of bait left so I was thinking of going our for a couple of hours to see what I could get tonight. Keep me informed and if you don't mind I might join you.

yes simon just had a phone call he is coming to pick me up in half hour so we are deffo going to thunderhole got live prawn sandeels and rag worm.
and frozen baits will be sprat squid and macky. surely something will like one of those baits!!

didnt end up down thunderhole after all.....wind was annoying down there so we ended up on torre abbey sands i had a few pout on the worm then put a sprat out on my last cast and caught the good ole reliable doggie!

May try breakwater tomorrow evening (Monday) if weather isnt too bad, although I didnt like the forecast!!

Babbacombe pier is pretty sheltered and it's where I normally head if the wind is too strong elsewhere. Could try there? I can't make it tonight though, misses wants me in

yes anywhere from the nose right into oddicome beach is sheltered from westerly winds oddicome beach is very underrated you catch just as much there in the winter ...whiting doggie pout macky and such (same species as babbacome pier) its free to park and you can almost fish right out of the back of the car ....only problem with it is you cant park there until october so summer months its a no go in the evenings unless you want to pay to park and babbacome and then walk to oddicome
