A weekend session

Okay, so I have a dilemma, I seem to do nothing other than manage to pick marks that are fishing crap at the moment, so I've decided that due to having a completely football-free weekend this weekend I'm going to fish a good long session, ideally somewhere between Chesil and Hayling Island.

My initial thoughts are, Abbotsbury ('cos I'm a fool for a doggie) Eastney ('cos I fancy a fight) Somewhere in the Solent ('cos I'm loving the Pout) or Hurst ('cos I love catching weed), anyone else got any better ideas?

how about doing the poingdestres comp on sunday,anyone has a chance of winning and a grand up for grabs.im going to have another crack at it as my mate won it a few years ago,he walked off with £1400.

ok mate...i,ll be the one with the red smock on with bells of hythe on the back.take your mullet gear aswell mate.i think the last couple of comps have been won by a couple of mullet

if it's abbotsbury,try and walk way past the hill to the left of the car park towards the dragons,the stretch in front of the beach has line snags getting bigger by the week

Cheers, at the moment it's looking like it might be Abbotsbury, haven't checked anything out tidewise yet, but might give it a go.

I hear orkney island is fishin its nuts off, a cod was caught there last month.

I find myself faced with the very same dilemma this weekend coming and it is also looking like Abottsbury will be my choice, if the wind isn't too bad! Looking like it may get called off though. 23mph forcast for Friday night when I looked last night, that has now changed to 5mph! wish they would make their mind up so I know how much bait to order.
