| Hayling Island 28/9/7 Making best use of these tides this weekend - fished 2030 - 0300 HW0116 Overcast night, slight NW wind, calm still sea & quite warm. Myself & Gully were hoping for a cod fest although conditions were not ideal .... Fishing mainly with big lug baits to tempt Mr Cod but alas I had the only one of the night around 2lb caught on rag  Que sera - not too bad a session though, caught Bream, Bass and surprisingly smoothounds. Gully had half dozen - biggest around 2lb and my lad caught his PB Smut - again around 2lb.
