| Hayling Island Decided to fish Hayling before the Windsurfer lot take over. Fished between the Fair & the Coastguard tower - 2000 - 000 HW2128 Really hot day & evening, calm sea, murky night, no moonlight & quite gloomy - got a bit scared in the blackness  Lots of small bream around 50-75 yards, all on rag tipped with squid. Also Stingers ! Caught at distance (I reckon 100 yards +) Caught with 1/0 hook & king rag. Really pleased to catch more, a PB tonight of 6lb4oz - amazed how heavy the 'little ones are, a very dense fish  They give a really distinct bite and when hauling them in - its like dragging in a bag of bricks - seem to fight all the way in and arm aching work ... great fun though !
