interesting evening at budliegh

went to budliegh this eve looking to do all nighter
after while guy came up and asked if any luck and where to go as he had a boat that he wanted to take out.
so said where best fishing is out over the otter ledges
next thing he came down with his mate(now both were built (like myself)on the heavy side) and they had a 10foot rectangular plastic boat, like they use in harbours to get too real boats. and they climbed in and "paddled""wavered" nearly capsized and splashed off(only on oar power, wearing only shorts and teeshirts conditions were flat calm and warm tonight and they dissapeared into the slight mist building up, another angler who saw them leave thought we aught to call coastguard as they left,
we left it till 9.30 then rang as hadnt seen them for 2 hours in dark
they eventually turned up at 10.30 about 200yrds down the beach and struggled to land "craft", phoned coastgaurd who called off search but gave guys a Bo++ocking. MUPPETS!!!!!!! ,but i'd lost interest by then so came home for a beer, will use rest of bait from docks tommorrow
all in all a fun night though and caught first and probably only gurnard of year

LOL, but shouldn't laugh (much). Idiots like that are the ones who get plucked out of the sea by helicopters

Re: interesting evening at budliegh

muppets is about the right description,i'm afraid d*ck heads like that will probably do the same next week,a b*llocking from the RNLI would only bounce off their thick skulls
