How did you get on at my "local" beach? Hopefully the weed wasn't a problem with the decent weather.

ye i said in another post not here

i had another 2 small eyed ray both just over 3lb

was bass, ray and red mullet caught out of everyone

What part of the beach to you get them from Steve? Still haven't seen anyone catch a fish down there yet!

the bass were caught right to the left of the beach and the red mullet

the ray were caught about 100 metres from rocks to the left of the beach

and they took sandeel one caught close in (very close) and 1 far out

now is the time if u wana go down there for ray coz theres no doggies around! at al anywere

No fish around at all when I go there! lol. How far out were the ray? As I said I haven't seen anyone catch there so no-one has been able to offer advice so far. I usually fish to the left of the beach but that seems to be the side worst affected by weed. Did try the other side by the boat launching area last time but not even a bite there.

the ray were at all distances

i had 1 far out and 1 close in, there was 1 other caught very far out by someone else

the left side is more affected by the waves which is why the weed is there

if it isnt very windy its fine there
