 The Jinx is lost...........at last... Well at last I am happy to report that my curse has been lifted.......I caught some fish !!!! As those of of you who remember my first posting...... I am new to sea fishing after years of course fishing and I have to say I was begining to get some what downhearted at my attempts. But I am pleased (ecstatic) to report that I caught 17 Mackerel and 4 Bass this evening, from Bude breakwater on this evenings high tide. Do I get a badge ???      |

I was over Brixham Breakwater last night and also caught a load of mackerel plus a few pollock so my freezer is nicely stocked up with macky bait again. The best thing of all is I was fishing inbetween 4 other people and they didn't catch a thing. It's nice to be the one catching and not looking hehehe. It good when things go right eh? its just sometimes it rarely does and you feel like just quiting! lol i know i do when i go through bad stages but i just blame it the venues i fish!! lol or my tools...he he anyway sounds like you had a good night so keep it up and look forward to hearing about your next trip!! also welldone simon sounds like you had a great trip too! just crossing my fingers and hoping my fishing goes as well as what im reading!! so all in all welldone to you both Ollie. ps...Steve hundreds or the scollies down ere take em away any day!! bliddy spiney little gold fish nicking the bait all day....gggrrrrrrr!! lol |
