You guys went out today? Bass fishing

Why are the batteries always dead in the camera when you finally need them!

I took my son and his mate Dill out today out of Teignmouth, we caught 7 bass 14 garfish and a shed load of macks on carp rods. It is just the best fun you can have vertical.

Hope you guys did the same.

Stay safe, Jules.

Re: You guys went out today? Bass fishing

Cheers Ollie

Yeah it was great, if you work out how much fish cost per pound and how much it costs to run your own boat no one would buy a boat. But if you work out how much fun it is to catch fish off your own boat you'ld realise it's priceless.
Love it. Jules

Re: You guys went out today? Bass fishing

Seems to me that the best way to get into the fish is to have a boat nimue4.

Still dream of having one, one day.

Nice catch mate.

Re: You guys went out today? Bass fishing

I had boats as a lad but when kids came along the boat had to go! I think i cried for days. Then about 12 years ago I had a life threatening incident and decided not to wait for anything I really wanted as there may not be a tomorrow. Within a week I'd bought a boat and a porsche!

Go buy one!

The incident??? I was kidnapped and trust me its not pleasant.

regards, Jules

Blimey, that is a life changing experience. I've had one recently too (too raw to discuss yet) which is why I've taken up fishing again, lifes too short to waste a single day

Re: You guys went out today? Bass fishing

Yeah Rob,
day by day and as much fishing as possible as far away from people I can get. You don't ever forget the sight of the wrong end of a gun but kinda learn to live with the whole thing. Whatever has happened to you will get better with time, maybe we better start a self help thread?

Stay safe

jules
