Re: Going Garing....

Hello chaps!

Thought i beter come on and tell yu about my day garing!.....well it turned into a fish for anything day in the end! wasnt many mackerel there so decided to fish for gars for a bit! nothing for the first 1/2 hr so i decided to fish light gear for wrasse for a while! caught four in five chucks and went great on a quivertip even though they were only about 6onz each!! even had a few Blennies<<not sure on spelling! after a while decided to have a go for the gars and macks again but with my feathers!! after a few chucks i actully hooked a gar....not the ways i wanted to catch em but still good fun! ended up with four gars on my feathers and two macks!! bit diferent to what my mate had yesterday but he also done bad today. He ended up on 50 fish yesterday so just a tad different eh? i know the water was ckearer and calmer so i expect that had somthing to do with it! overall not a great day but it was good to get back into it!

Ollie.

4-wrasse
3-blennies
4-gars
and 2-macks!! not to bad!!
