| A *DOUBLE* platinum pass! Well, I'm a free man until Sunday! The missus has taken the kids to visit relative in Stanley so until she gets back it's fishing, fishing and more fishing. The plan is: Tonight : Straight from work to tackle shop. Home, then out to either Sidmouth for early rays, or up the Exe for late flounder. Friday : Up at stupid O'clock to try some spinning for Bass at first light. Yeah I know it's early in the year for spinning, but I wanna try my new Stradic out and I just CAN okay! Friday (pm) : Game of golf with my mate, followed by a few beers in Exeter! Saturday : Up at stupid O'Clock to travel to Blagdon for opening day fly fishing!  I haven't cast a fly rod for years, so that should be fun.Saturday (pm) : Set off with Ping for Chesil (West Bexington?!). Back early hours! Sunday(am) : Game of golf with father-in-law, followed by an hours cricket practice. Sunday(pm) : FPO returns, and I'm supposed to have finished the tiling! Arrg. Good grief. I think this might be a touch ambitious. I'm not 18 any more and I think Saturday morning in particular is going to sting.... Still, what's the worst that can happen??? (Apart from falling asleep at the wheel... You do want me to drive don't cha Dave?)  Re: A *DOUBLE* platinum pass! Go for it mate. Just make a right hash of the tiling & she won't ask you again.... Did'nt know you did fly fishing. Have to meet up for a session some time. Oh & a couple of tips mate, never fish Blagdon on opening day, it get's way too crowded. Leave it until about tuesday. Plus make sure you fish a Daiwl Bach in your team of flies. Never fails.
