Re: festival time :) Have thought about joining Paignton SAA for years but never have. My fishing has been so off and on over the years. Dont like fishing on my own very much and most of my long term friends arn't into it at all. My brother is well into fishing but has limited time to fish due to being a chef. So with that in mind it tends to limit me too. You wont be surprised to learn that you are now on my buddy list and will be hounded to go fishing!!!!

Re: festival time :) lol anytime kiwi. i wanted to go tonight but listening to the rain im glad i didnt i dont have transport thats the main restriction of my fishing and the guy i fish alot of the time with is a farmer and being the summer and stuff every fine day we get at the moment he is out working all hours so i cant even get a lift from him. i am also thinking about joining paignton simply because i asked twice from torbay asa for membership and twice they never got back to me you seem to be more up on your beach fishing than me im more of a lightline man with my 4lb line and match rod you would be surprised what i catch lol. but tit for tat anytime you fancy mullet fishing let me know and maybe one day you can teach me how to bottom fish for things other than dogs whiting and pout lol __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think!

Re: festival time :) DD..............other than dogs, whiting and pout..........you mean there's something else down there!!!!! I must have missed that then!! Light tackle sounds good to me. I have never been into the 'whack out the feathers' kinda guy. Im sorry but use those tactics and you may as well go fishing with dynamite. Feathers have their place when using them to catch immediate bait but you can't beat catching fish on light tackle, period. Looks like I got meself a new fishing buddy then. Will go down to Paignton SAA and get some info etc, and forward it onto you if you like.
